Iran says more arrests are made in French ‘spy’ case. A spokesperson for the judiciary on Tuesday said there were more arrests in the French spies case. He said the newly detainees were charged with “conspiracy and collusion” to harm national security.

However, France also counter-applied for “dictatorship practices”. Condemning the arrests, France demanded his immediate release.

Massoud Setayeshi, Iran’s judicial spokesman, spoke about the case called the French Spies Case at the weekly press conference. He did not, however, state how many people were arrested, their nationality, or any other details.

Setayeshi, there are other detentions, the chain of information is about to be completed; He said the results will be announced as they are received.

2 Europeans Detained

In the month we left behind, Iran’s Intelligence Ministry stated that they arrested 2 Europeans for showing insecurity in Iran, where people were protesting after Mahsa Amini was killed by the morality police.

Iranian State Media also broadcasts the confessions of people accused of political charges. In one of them, she stated that Cecile Kohler was preparing to prepare the time for revolution and to overthrow the Islamic Iranian Regime.

The video in question caused outrage in Paris, for the first time, when it stated that apart from the two citizens held in Iran, the other two citizens were also “state hostages”. He said that the allegations were made under duress, that they had no basis and that arbitrary arrests were made.

It also accuses Iran’s enemies, such as the United States and Israel, of inciting unrest. One of them is Amini, who died in custody of the morality police at the age of 22. His death, and deadly state repression of the protests, caused most Western states to condemn Tehran. New sanctions followed. Thus, the tense diplomatic tensions increased even more. This caused naturally bad relationships to worsen.

Amini’s Death and Protests

Mahsa Amini, 22, was detained in Iran because the headscarf did not comply with the Urals. However, he died after that. Protests broke out on this and continued for a long time.

Demonstrations took place in many places, including the capital Tehran. Although the information is not given clearly from official sources, the Norwegian-based Iranian Human Rights Organization stated that over 200 people lost their lives.

Apart from this, thousands of people who participated in the protest were taken into custody and arrested.
